History

The Winchester Opera House was built in 1873 by J.D. Simpson, the first Mayor of Winchester. The Opera House was the mayor's gift to the city to be utilized as a cultural center for the performing arts. It hosted Off Broadway Productions, Classical Concerts and Community galas. The majestic building fell to industrialization and became broken from years of neglect.

Recently purchased by Edward and Vanessa Ziembroski in 2003, this historic building has been renovated to its original grandeur. The new architectural plan, by Red Bud Design firm, has restored the spacious 16 foot ceilings, vintage oak flooring and original elegance. Ms. Ziembroski's design will provide a unique backdrop for your next Corporate or Social Event.
